Meet Viviana Miglia, Au.D.

Dr. Viviana Miglia, Au.D., has been working with hearing aids since 2018, and has been practicing audiology since 2022. She is certified and licensed by the state of California as a Dispensing Audiologist and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Miglia graduated cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders, then earned her doctorate at her alma mater, being a part of the first cohort of audiology doctorate students at California State University, Los Angeles.

As a sibling of Deaf adults, Dr. Miglia is fluent in American Sign Language. Her childhood experiences prompted her to conduct research on children with hearing loss and compile resources that were made available to families of children with hearing loss. Her interests lie in hearing aids and cochlear implants. As a clinical audiologist, Dr. Miglia conducts comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults and pediatric patients, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping for adult patients, and fits hearing aids.

In her free time, she likes to binge Netflix with her husband and their cat, Baffy. She also loves basking in the sunny California weather at the beach or at the park with a good whodunit mystery.
