Meet Sharla Morales, Au.D.

Dr. Sharla Morales, Au.D. worked in the Conejo Valley as an Audiologist for more than seven years before opening Second Chance Hearing Center, Inc. in 2011. She has practiced in various clinical settings, universities, large medical facilities like Kaiser and private practices. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Dakota in 1998 with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Audiology from California State University Northridge in 2000 and her Doctoral Degree in Audiology from Salus University in 2008.

While doing research on patients with central auditory processing disorders, Dr. Morales was determined to improve her patient’s quality of life through the gift of hearing. Her passion for giving people a second chance at hearing is seen through her commitment to quality patient care, gentle demeanor, ethical standard and clinical excellence.

Dr. Morales is licensed in the state of California as a Dispensing Audiologist with about two decades of experience working in the field of audiology. Throughout her career, she has supervised many audiology students. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).

Dr. Morales lives in Southern California with her husband and their three children.
