Meet Samantha Godby, Au.D.
Dr. Samantha Godby, Au.D. has been a practicing audiologist since 2005. She is certified and licensed by the state of California as a Dispensing Audiologist. She has earned the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) for academic performance and clinical experience and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Dr. Godby, earned her Doctorate in Audiology degree from the University of Florida, Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from Long Beach State University, and a Master’s degree in Audiology from Long Beach State University.
As a Clinical Audiologist, Dr. Godby conducts comprehensive audiologic evaluations for adult and pediatric patients and has received advanced training in vestibular assessment, electrophysiological testing and tinnitus. Providing hearing aid and assistive listening device consultation, selection, fittings as well as follow up care ensures patient satisfaction.
There are many aspects of audiology that Dr. Godby enjoys. She implements the latest research and technology in her work and uses her interpersonal skills to connect with patients.
During her free time, she enjoys watching her children play at sporting events, camping and traveling with family.
