Hearing Aid Fittings and Programming
People who use hearing aids often say that these small devices are one of the best investments they’ve ever made. To get the most out of your purchase, your hearing aids will need to be appropriately fit and adjusted.
- How to clean and care for them
- How to replace their batteries
- How to store your hearing aids properly
If your hearing aids come equipped with Bluetooth connectivity or other advanced features, our team will ensure that you feel comfortable taking advantage of everything your device has to offer.
If the hearing aid is not working, you can always drop off the hearing aid at the front counter. Our Doctors of Audiology or our Audiology Aide will repair the hearing aid and call you for pick up (typically within 24 hours). Occasionally, the repair may require more than we can address in our office, and in this instance, we are happy to send your hearing aid to the manufacturer for repair.

Fitting Appointment
During the initial fitting of your hearing aids, you will be placed in front of a machine called the AudioScan Verifit. This is the only way an Audiologist can determine if your hearing aids have the proper prescription based on the hearing test results and your listening needs. There are also other machines on the market for this type of verification measure.
